Holy Blog Update Batman!

Yeah I haven't updated in a while but...umm...can't think of a lame-ass excuse...damn it.

But yeah just need to give out a few updates and whatnot and some things I wanna do I guess.

Basically my Gigavise deck is a WHOLE lot better now that I've put the focus on plants and whatnot, it gives for a lot less situational cards and dead cards in my hand. I do have another idea for how to run the deck but I will need 3 Polymerizations, 3 Grasschoppers and maybe 1/2 cost downs for it to really be viable in my opinion. I had been running 1 Poly but with only 6 targets and I would much rather them in the graveyard and I need a Gigaplant on the field when Superalloy Beast Raptinus hits the field, it's not exactly helpful when I won't always have 3 Supervises in my hand and access to Lonefire or stuff in  the graveyard. The deck still needs a lot of playtesting and whatnot as I try and push it for more consistency and see how far it can go. Annoyingly most decks run so much destruction and removal hate that it's hard to keep the wheels moving. The OTK hasn't been occurring as much lately but with the fixes as seen above, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

In the process of building Gladiator Beasts because the deck is broken and whatnot. Though the only issue for me is getting a hold of the Fusions and Chariots and such. I'll worry about that later once I actually have a shape to the deck all figured out.

Locals and Decks

Well I figured I may as well update before I head off to bed and whatnot. Yay for staying up til 1 AM. Woo.

Anyway, locals were today/yesterday and tbh I got horrible hands and really couldn't do that much.

Frogs with 4000 attack points hurt.

Infernities...yeah...Trip Mist Wurm Game, bounce everything blah

Blackwings, actually had a good match with Brad but...yeah I still lost

And beat a little kid who is annoying and ripped up a BOOK OF MOON. And two of the Glads from TU01. WHAT THE *EFF* GAH KIDS ANNOY ME

Anyways I won't go on too much of a rant. I would prefer sleep.

Gemini Plants is smeh but we'll see how it goes, it's an alright deck but really doesn't have the speed to compete with the meta and has ZERO control. Hence why I am loving Stardust Assault. Book of Moon x 3 is just so amazing. No Lonefire Blossom so theres an out for the Gemini Plants gone. Doomcal facedown, Stardust, blah blah blah. Not too mention most turns Stardust is out first turn and I have a one in 8 chance of pulling a card to get me an Assault Mode Activate in the first turn and those odds just get bigger and bigger as the game goes. I <3 the Flamvell Engine. Firedog is legendary.

Not as legendary as the Beasty Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode. Yay for a Solemn once per turn. Or two if I get them both out. If that happens....well...it really sucks to be you.

Si that'll do for now, I'm go sleep and do an online test when I wake up and then later on spend time with my beautiful girlfriend. Life would be great if I could win at locals a lil more. BLEH. Oh well. Ce la vie.

Epic Local Pre-Thing...Not Really

I'm now 18. Wooo. I'm totally not excited. Big deal. Just means I can call everyone kiddo now haha.

I was able to invest in new sleeves <3 and two tins which I pulled nothing from. :(

How very upsetting. 60 bucks for a Starlight Road and a Power Tool Dragon. I could've gotten two Tethys for that amount. Goddamn.

Anyways this is gonna be real short since I wanna sleep more. Because that's what I do before exams. SLEEP. Study is for chums.

Locals tomorrow, woo and stuff. Gonna be trying out Gemini Plants so we'll see how they go. Hopefully I don't get the junky hands I tend to get when I play at locals. And hopefully I don't end up playing kids or getting two byes again. Just horrible is what that is.

Yeah like I said real short. Birthday was good and stuff and yeah. I miss Biancca Eden. <3

Gold Series 3

Well it's all been confirmed. And holy tits did they make some great moves for me. NOVA SUMMONER in common. Love you Konami. My Perfection Fairies will be easier and cheaper to complete.

Also some other staples are coming in Gold Rare which is really nice, even though there a bagillion copies of MST floating around. Gold Smashing will be hot. Gold E-Con I was a little suprised with but they've got Mezuki and Plague so I guess there's some Zombie stuff in there? I dunno.

STARDUST DRAGON in all it's goldeny goodness. Won't be as hot as the Ghost or Ultimate versions but could be pretty sweet. Good for the people who couldn't buy the tins, or live in a card-game depleted town *aka me*. My Body will also be a really cool Gold as a lot of people run it and it's only been common until Turbo Pack 2 where it's only a rare. So this shines up a lot of decks.

Finally Icarus Attack. Excellent move I think. Blackwings are meta, people wanna run Blackwings the set has nearly every Blackwing you need minus Vayu and the TSHD ones. Might as well throw in their main support card. It means that even new players will buy this in cases, though veterans and everything in between will most likely buy these in cases. I know Matt will be due to the Dragons and other stuff he needs. I want Nova Summoners guys! I'll probably pull like 5 and not a D. Draw or Malicious knowing my luck. Oh well. Ce La Vie. Or something. My French is horrible.

Shitty shit at Locals

Bit late but whatever, I figured I'd post about locals. Apparently supposed to be a bigger tournament or something. Didn't attract much. Only 4 rounds. Wow how great. Doesnt leave room for ties at all. Two four way ties, one for second, one for third. Facepalm.

Anyways, besides me moaning about that let's get to the actual day. It was fucking freezing. 8 DEGREES CELCIUS. GODDAMN THAT SHIT. Though it will get colder. Layer up people. I needs gloves. Anyways. I was confident in Quickdraw. Kinda. It's not finished but it's mostly done. Apart from Mirror Force and Solemn and shit. Still. Good build.

WORST DAY EVER.

First match against Machina Gadgets, first time seeing them, love the deck, got hammered because guess what no monsters. Oh how great is that. I can really win without a Dandylion. Wrong. Just. Ugh. Blasted in 5 minutes max. That really pissed me off.

Second match was against Steven's mill deck. Hmm he mills and hits beatdowns. I run a lot of one for ones like Fissure. My main engine is a mill engine. FUCK. So I lost to Empty Jar. Go me. Sigh.

Third match was against Black-What? He was too busy playing WoW so he gave me a bye? Well sure okay. Really? Okay. Sure. Fourth match was against Light-What fuck? More WoW? FML. So I won via two byes and lost two games really fucking quickly. God fucking damn. Would've been the worst tournament ever if it weren't for prizes.

Two Hidden Arsenal Packs. First one. Shit. Second one. Oh look. Catastor. You've given me a return on my 20 entry fee. Kthx. And that my geminis are gonna be pretty sweet. Considering I destroyed Synchro Cat. Not just managed. DESTROYED. Gigaplant Swarm is epic. Oh what? You wanna D Prison my Gigaplant equipped with Supervise? GEMINI SPARK. Destroy whatever's left and MANDATORY special summon. Two best cards in the deck hands down. Anyways enough about that.

Birthday is in like 4 days now. Or 5. Whatever. I'm really not bothered. It's Thrsday. I get cards, hopefully I pull things to repay debts and stuff that I need for different things. Maybe I should buy some Duelist Genesis and try and pull a Goyo for Steve or a Stardust or a TRA. Meh. Maybes. Depends on what's going cheaply. I know I'm getting new sleeves. And the Yusei Folder that's sitting there calling out my name.

Goblin Zombie and...umm...Divine Knight Izshark for Phoenix Wing Wind Blast Gold, Honest, Herald of Orange Light, some other random thing, and something else I forget. Gold Series card was a steal. Traded Rose, Warrior of Revenge for a whole lot of Gemini Crap.Yay for getting more cards than what mine is actually worth.

Okay now I think I'm done. Probably. Yeah. No sudden remberance. Yes. I have shit I need to do tomorrow and I'm meeting with the woman at some point so doesn't matter anyway. I'll do something. Or something. Whatever.

Real Post, Dimensional Eatos

Because I'm cool and I really hate the game so I do it to annoy people. GAME GAME GAME. Get over it.

Anyways.

With the tourney tomorrow I'm in card game mode very much so and last night while I was YouTubing at like 4am I came across something that really tickled my fancy and that I've proxied up a deck for because I don't have basically every card for, or they're being used in my Quickdraw or GigaVise decks. It means my thought of getting another Dark Emperor is a very good idea because I get a lot of the cards I need for this deck, another bottomless, another torrential and most of all, another Caius. Anyways I'm getting a bit off topic here. Back to it.

Dimensional Eatos is what some are referring to as the king of Anti-Meta from what I've watched, MKohl40 has some videos of it, Pointlessness413 or something has a few good videos on it and ChrisIsSoPro or Ryan IsSoPro or a few other guys have got some D Eatos decks and ideas up. Anyways. Basically the deck has worked really quite well, did better against Quickdraw than GigaVise has, though GigaVise needs a lot of fixing.

Basically the deck uses Dimensional Fissure to keep the graveyard free of monsters so you can special summon Guardian Eatos. However, Dimensional Fissure also screws up Lightsworns, Dandylion, Zombies and every other deck that utilises cards in the graveyard. Rescue Cat can't activate, Charge can't activate anything that requires sending things to the graveyard doesn't work.

Along with that there is the Skill Drain and Royal Oppression set of continuous spells and traps. Negating effects on the field and having nothing in the graveyard is pretty nasty. I really like the fact that the deck runs a lot of 1900 beaters and that the E-Hero search engine plus the Gemini Spark engine gets you a lot of pluses.

I'll do a more detailed run through the deck at a later date after I've tested it with my mates and randoms at the tourney tomorrow before or between games, whatever works. We'll see how it goes. That's about all I really wanted to talk about really. Just been testing my decks today and hopefully my deck is the best it can be currently. It still needs some more cards, like Hamsters and Starlight Road and Foolish Burial but besides that I think that the deck is pretty good. We'll see how I go, again. Hopefully I get like more than three or four boosters, that way I get my money's worth back. To get a shitty pull most likely. Oh well what are you gonna do? Not much.

The Game

You all lose.

GigaVise, A Work in Procress

Greetings from behind the screen once again and all that annoying crap. Not the usual oh my life is so stereotypically white and boring or anything today, going straight into what I've been thinking about talking about for a while, and that is GigaVise or what my mates have started to affectionately call it, GigaWeed. Then they get to deal with my army of Weeds. Deal with that, word.

Now I'm black. It's been a long day.

Firstly let's look at the KEY CARD. People say you shouldn't run three. I say shut the hell up. You need this card to win. You need this card early and you need to be able to search it and you need to be able to get his effect off as soon as possible.

Gigaplant - Level 6 - 2400/1200

Your average stats for a level 6 monster, nothing to frightening if Book of Moon'd either. However after he's summoned the second time it's where it gets interesting. Once per turn you can special summon one plant or insect type monster from your hand or graveyard. Yes. HAND OR GRAVE. That shit is broken. Foolish Burial on Tytannial or Dandylion and special summon and just keep spamming tokens for Tytannial to negate everything. You could do that. Or you could have fun with the support card that is key for the deck.

Supervise

Equip it to a gemini, it gets it's effect without special summoning. When the card is sent to the graveyard you can special summon one gemini monster from the graveyard. Once again. That shit is broken. If they manage to run over a Gigaplant with Supervise equipped, he just comes back straight away. If Caius blows up the Gigaplant on the field and you still have one in the grave, the effect will go off. Epic win card. So obviously the entire point is to get Gigaplant on the field and equip him with Supervise. Plant Recruiter and Equip Spell Recruiter.

Lonefire Blossom and Power Tool Dragon

Lonefire is run in twos because it's broken. Special Summon any plant by just tributing a plant, most likely, himself. Grabs a Gigaplant or Tytannial or a tuner. Simples.

Power Tool is the quickest and best and most efficient way of getting a hold of Supervise. Looping his effect by using Supervise to bring back Gigaplant when you synchro summon with a level 1 you special summon while Gigaplant has his effect allows you to get 2-3 equip spells if you're really lucky. Mark of the Rose, Supervise and United We Stand are the usual spells for the deck.

Some builds run this guy, but I think every build should. Superalloy Beast Raptinus. Every gemini on the field gets their effect. Every. Single. One. So Gigaplant becomes more broken than Monster Reborn. Gigaplant revive and summon themselves, spam Lonefires and bring out the Queen, Tytannial. Very much that is the easiest OTK as all you need is two geminis, a Lonefire and polymerization or conversely; Future Fusion and Lonefire. Miracle Fusion not so much because you lose the cards that work for the swarm.

Other plant support cards work with the deck obviously. Some build use more of a Dark engine with the Mystic Tomatoes and the Inmatos that are awesome. DAD works great in the deck, especially when you run Gale and Plague along with the Tomatoes. Another threat your opponents need to watch out for.

Everything else is mostly a personal preference, I'm yet to figure out what works best for the deck and what needs to be in an what is clogging up the deck. I'll update everything and see how the deck goes in the meantime.

Randomly Updating

Title says and message speaks. Or something cool and meaningful like that. I guess. Anyways, into zee actual blog. Or whatever.

Life is pretty chill at the moment, not too much is happening, just finished/ing most of my assignments and preparing for exams (aka not doing anything until the night before) and playing my children's card games and spending time with my girlfriend. It's a tough life but someone has gotta do it. Turning 18 in like a week, woo go me I'm so excited, that was sarcasm, I have to point that out since you can't hear my sarcastic tone. Unless I could type sarcastically. That would be cool.

Anyways, Mommy loves because along with the 30 she gave me early for the biggish tournament on the weekend and the 70 she's already spent, she's giving me 100 bucks for me to spend on children's trading cards. Well not all. Actually no that's a lie, you know it's all going there. Maybe a movie ticket or a coffee or something but most will be card games and locals costs and stuff like that.

I could go into another Yu-Gi-Oh rant but to be honest I'm not in the mood. It's Wednesday. It's my sleepy day. I stayed up far too late, I blame Biancca, and and had to get up early to film our stupid assignment. Beh. Oh well. I finally FINALLY have credit and bought two boosters and pulled a Kunai with Chain super. Not bad. Not good. Not a card in there I'd use. So basically jenk. WOOO.

With that I've come to the conclusion that either buying boxes, Sneak Peaks or Special Editions or Tins will be the only time I'll buy boosters. I'll buy cards individually otherwise, saves me time, money and effort. I'ma learn how to make money off of the game, while having no money at all. Should be easy enough. Or not. we'll see how I go.

Nothing too big for me as far as Yugioh goes, though I am looking into Psychics, just because I think they're cool and whatnot. That'll just about do it for today. Remember though, if you know something, tell someone.

Locals and a smile

Woo back again, figured I'd wait to u pdate until after locals because let's be honest I didn't have anything interesting to talk about and I was too busy doing my assignment at the last minute. I mean, I'm an organised uni student. *shifty eyes*

Anyways, back to the real focus. LOCALS. MUCH BETTER THAN LAST TIME OMFGLOL.

Thanks to a couple of guys down there I was able to get another Junk Destroyer, Caius AND another two Pot of Avarices, thanks to those guys. Deck runs so much better now. Also got a Card Trooper after the tournament but eh, s'all good. The deck is very quickly approaching completion, which is awesome. Anyways. 13 people were there and like 5 of them were dumb kids, I mean inexperienced players. And one guy with banned cards and a 63 card deck with 5 banned cards. Let's all LOL at him. "LOL". Kay. Anyways lemme run y'all down how I went and what I faced.

Match 1 Mirror Match
Against the eventual winner of the day, playing a Mirror Match. Made me feel good that Quickdraw still won but was kinda lame that my day rank went down because of my early loss. We both drew pretty badly. LADD won every single game. 2-1 in his favour, though the best game of the day for me.

Match 2 Some Kid
Yay for playing kids that don't know what they're doing. Woo. Quick and easy finish of pwnage. 2-0. AND then we wait forever for the other game to finish. And I mean forever. They took like half an hour because one guy didn't know half the effects and couldn't make a decision. Everyone had like no sleep and we were all getting antsy. RAWR.

Match 3 Other Some Kid
He used Batterymen. Borrowed the deck off of the kid that beat me when I used GigaVise. Well how you like me now biatch! Doesn't really count since he kinda had no clue on how to play. Since he randomly discarded Trap Hole and summoned Batteryman D, which has 0 attack points. He was trying to summon in defense and never set. See this is why they have PEGASUS LEAGUE. If only our town was big enough to give a crap about card games. Anyways.

Match 4 Battle of the Steves, Synchro Cat
Apparently I look like a Steve according to guy running the thing and I ended playing my mate Steve who is a fellow team member I guess, though our team isn't like official or crap. We're good mates. Yeah. That'll do. I was hoping that it would be better games than what I already had. Mmm. Either he drew junk and I drew amazing stuff, which I sorta did or I have no idea what the hell happened. Five minutes and we were finished and I came out with 2-0. Generic Depressive Steve (him). Generic Happy Steve (me). In case you got confused. I ended up getting confused. Anyways.

Prizesssssssss, *opens pack* OH FFS. *puts rare in rares pile*

Junk pull all the good boosters were bought beforehand. Le Sigh. Oh well. Overall of 5th wasn't too I bad  I must say. Though like 4 of us were 3-1 at the end, just I lost in the first round so Meh. Everyone from 3rd onwards only got one booster anyway so didn't really matter too much.

For those who don't know I now have an amazing girlfriend, cheap shout-out to get me having cool coolness. Or something. I dunno. I'm blogging again.

Seems someone actually does read this crap. Whoaaa.

Anyways what's been happening...nothing really. Submitted a horrible assignment yesterday and one is due this week and another next week. Yay for end of semester. Bleh. Anyways. Stuff. Ummm. 18 in like 16 days, I'm like so excited, no not really. I'm more excited about getting my children's trading cards and money for children's trading cards. Yay card games. Woo. Umm. Locals on the weekend, woo? So I can come last again woo. Or own with Quickdraw. Not so doubtful with Caius and Stardust and Drill obviously. But we'll see.

A rant if you'll be so kind to listen. Self-centred pricks who think they're super special awesome because they're so amazingly great a children's trading card game. I bet you think you're pro too Mr Super Special Awesome. The pro leagues of Yu-Gi-Oh. Bet that rakes in the dough. Got enough for you own Blue-Eyes White Dragon jet to savour your dragon fetish, no offense Matt. That is why I'm antisocial. People are stupid.

I'm a Stinky Liar, it seems.

Yeah I haven't done my essay yet and I've been on Facebook and MSN and YouTube all day. Oops. THOUGH. The essay is in better condition than it was last night as far as word count goes. Heh. Quality not so much. Here's hoping I can scrap up a good mark and that my tests can make up for it. *crosses fingers*

Centrelink issues again. How surprising. It seems that because Mum hasn't given them her info and stuff - which she HAS, she sent it - they find it acceptable to cut my youth allowance. Kay. How about a phone call. Or something. Lazy bastards. I pray for the poor person who gets to answer the phone and put up with Mother when she calls about it on Monday. Hopefully everything gets sorted out cos we kinda need that cash, and I need it especially for textbooks. Egh.

Anyways, I've been playing with QDW today and trying some different things. Should be fun. I'll have Caius, Stardust and...was that it...I forget...whatever I will have access to those cards soon. Epic win. Finally my deck will start looking agreeably good. Right now it's probably Tier B or something but with the few more adds with Drill Warrior (which is kinda mandatory :/), Caius and Stadust the deck will look and work a lot better. Woot.

DREV is where I start my Scrap Deck but I won't be able to build one until STBL comes out and the other support comes out. I'm thinking about building Amazonesses too but we'll wait and see. The countdown to my birthday and exams is going and my assignment count is decreasing. Yay. I wonder if my other CIS assignment has been marked. I shall check now. With that I'm out. Adios.

Assignment and First Deck Analysis

Hey guys and girls and those in-between, today has been sucky so far. Though I was asleep for most of it with animals being pains the entire time. I'm going to gut them soon. Seriously. CHOP! RAWR! Anyways, I'm nearly half way done with my crappy essay, woo go me, I totally rock. No not really. I'll get there soon. I guess. Tomorrow I'm gonna get the Warrior's Toolbox because I'm too lazy to do it today and I smell bad. I mean...screw it, yeah I smell bad. Anyways I've supposed to have been doing my assignment today and getting right into it...but...I was watching Bleach...oops. Oh well, I'll regret it later I assume. Though now I'm gonna do an amatuerish deck analysis. YAY. Go me.

First Deck on the chopping block is of course my deck, Quickdraw Dandy Warrior, Quickdraw Plants, whatever the hell you wanna call it. Now I did a minor thing about this last week but didn't really go into the deck extensively. That's what this is going to be, an extensive look at the deck. Yay.

Base/Core/Whatever

Here's the important stuff.
 - Quickdraw Synchron
 - Dandylion
 - Drill Warrior

These three cards are your win condition basically. Special Summon Quickdraw by discarding Dandylion and then you have Drill Warrior who can go straight to the LP and poke for 1200. Then Remove him by discarding whatever you like. Could be something beneficial that needs to be in the grave or whatever you don't need at the time. Then you bring Drill Warrior back during your turn and pick up Dandylion. Discard to remove after poking for 1200 and the cycle repeats itself. Not only is it annoying, within a few turns of the loop, you've taken a big chunk out of your opponents lifepoints.

Staples/Needed/Cool Stuff

Good stuff to put in the deck. Basically staples in any build.
 - Lonefire Blossom
 - Tytannial, Princess of Cammelias
 - Caius the Shadow Monarch
 - Light and Darkness Dragon
 - Sangan
 - Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
 - Super-Nimble Mega Hamster
 - Debris Dragon

These cards will make up most of your monster count, depending on how much of them you have and how you want your build to run. Some of the card are basically self-explanatory and have obvious synergy with the Dandylion abuse. Tytannial can tribute a Fluff Token to negate targetting effects. Your field generally always has 1-3 tokens. Drill Warrior comes back and spawns some more. Though Lightning Vortex isn't blockable but Call of the Haunted is always good for that.

Caius is great, considering you're spamming tokens and removing from play works great against most decks. Possible 1000 burn and clearing the field is great as well. Generally you hit the monster and wait to get hit by the bottomless or d prison or whatever your opponent has so that way it's always a plus 1. Sangan searches Dandy or Quickdraw. Simples. Ryko is easy destruction and blows up back-fields. Recruited easily via Hamster. Debris Dragon for Iron Chain or Black Rose or Ancient Fairy or Stardust if you already have Token ready, which is generally the case. LADD is for denying your opponent's backrow, but needs to be played right otherwise it's gonna screw up.

 - Quillbolt
 - Level Eater

Some may say what the hell am I doing, why am I running that in DandyWarrior. Because I can bean. Let me explain. Gale is a permanent Shrink and can run over Stardusts. Plus. He's a level 3 tuner. Plus. He can bring out Blackwing Armor Master. Plus Plus Plus. Quillbolt Hedgehog is mainly something I'm putting in as an easy way to sycnhro shokan. The deck is more of a Yusei-Turbo kind of hybrid, but still works well. Using Quillbolt, Stardust is accessible without tokens and Junk Archer is easily grabbed if I drop a Quillbolt for Quickdraw. He's also great for summoning the new Synchro, Junk Destroyer, which is epic as hell. Level Eater is the same principle as Quillbolt, omnoming levels to summon Junk Warrior or whatever you like, getting more monsters for more Junk Destruction, etc.

Synchro Shokan

 - Stardust, usually x 3
 - Drill Warrior x 2, but you can survive with one
 - The Rest of the Warriors and Synchron Material stuff
 - Dragons
 - Staples ONLY if you're running another tech tuner but that is not normally the case, your main focus should be on Quickdraw Synchro or Dragon Synchro

Basic stuff, can only use Dragons with Debris and Synchron Materials with Quickdraw. If you don't have other tuners then you can't run Goyo or Brionac. Sorry. Have fun being Yusei.

Backrow Hate

This. Key stuff. You don't want your Drill Warrior dying. End of story. Duel gets harder if your Drill Warrior dies and you don't have the hand to come back or bring out another one. Dust Tornado, MST, Heavy Storm Wild Tornado, Rykos, whatever else you want to run, whatever it is, you need to be hating on their backrows. Get rid of the Bottomless and the D Prison and the Torrential and all that amazing stuff that will wreck you. Even if you have to remove Drill before attacking, I'd recommend it. Save it getting removed or your entire field destroyed. At the very least protect him before trying to run over stuff. Beware of Rykos. They're tech in every deck thesedays basically. Smashing Ground not so much since it should never be on the field during your opponents turn, if the deck as been played right.

PoA, recycle monsters and draw more. Foolish to dump Dandy or something you know you can get back and use. Starlight is becoming staple, it protects your staple traps and brings out Stardust for free. Epic win sir. And staples duh.

Oh no I missed a Day!!!!ONE11

Yeah I said I was gonna do it daily. I was going to. Honest. But Scrubs and Big Bang Theory are far more entertaining than being online and on facebook where no one will be talking and I'll just be sitting here on forums and stuff. And I had nothing interesting to talk about anyway. You know it's true. Believe it.

My bed was so comfy this morning though the sound of whiny animals ruined that and I ended up getting not enough sleep as I should have gotten. Bloody figures. Stupid animals. Especially when I actually do get up you just go to sleep on the couch! Fine! Don't appreciate my company! And then they make noise for food, eat and then just run off. Go find your own food! Unlike you I don't sleep for 18 hours a day. Hmph!

Anyway enough of my whining.

Thanks to the brilliance of my home town, Starter Deck 2010, Warrior's Toolbox comes in TOMORROW! Booyah! Junk Destroyer here I come. Then in three weeks is Gold Series, which is something I wanna go into a little bit, and how awesome I'm feeling it is.

New Gold Rares: Gale and Smashing Ground. Epic. Win. I would love copies of these and no Matt, I'm not letting you have my Gold Rares, unless its some Dragon or Infernity I don't want. Gale is definitely going to be sexy in gold rare. I'm thinking about trying to build an Amazoness Deck if it can end up being competitive or anything. Whatever works.

I'm One Lazy Mother Humper

That's right, I'm lazy. Wooo. Yay for not going to a pointless lecture and pointless tutorial where they don't bother teaching us anything and rather just make us watch pointless videos. Pointless, really is. Hence why I slept in til 10 and hung out with Matt all afternoon playing card games and Xbox. I sucked at both. I'm awesome I know. Awesome in my suckiness of awesome.

I HAZ GORZ!

Yay. Lol. I have a Gorz now, and another Blue Eyes and Nitro Warriors and other stuff. I must wait til Gold Series for Drill Warrior, the Ultra Sexy card. Grrr. Mini card game rants are fun. I might have a go at the championships in June, all I need to do is borrow some cards off of Matt and I'm set. Though I may need to worry about money. I dunno yet. Worry about that later.

I have assignments and revision and stuff to do so today has to be a short blog, I don't have anything in particular to rant about, besides how much I suck at Dragon Ball Raging Blast. Hopefully tomorrow's entry is bigger and better and whatnot.

Day 4, because I can't think of another title

Greetings and salutations and all that generic stuff. Today was your average Sunday. Didn't do anything exciting or constructive. Yay. I have to actually get into my assignments tonight so I can actually deserve going to Matt's for children's card games. The joys of procrastination. I'm still feeling pretty sick, headaches becoming more prominent though everything else is fixing up pretty well. Like they say, it could always be worse.

Quickdraw is nearing completion and with Gold Series and maybe some other things I'll have a different version of the deck, though maybe not as effective, still just as fun. Blackwing Armor Master is awesome so there's no reason why you shouldn't run it if you're also running the permanent Shrink and Stardust destroyer, Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind. So in that aspect, technically, I'm three of the main characters of 5Ds combined.

As beautiful as Akiza, As witty and cool as Crow and as badass and main-characteresque as Yusei.

Or something stupid like that. Where are my drugs to fix my headache. Anyways that's enough from me. I'll be back tomorrow, as always.

Depending on your perspective that could be true and it could also not be true. Depending on your perspective.

GigaVise completely sucked at the locals. Completely. Drew absolute crap and just couldn't do much about it. However I pulled a Junk Archer from DP09, booyah. Nothing from my ABPF or ANPR packs but whatever. Gold Series Sangan, Rykos, LADD, Turbo Warriors, Book of Moons, Gale, Debris Dragons and most of my brother's needs for Morphtronics. So in that fashion I'm the real winner. So there. I am a winner. Smiles.

Let's recap shall we.

First match, Batteryman Beatdown/OTK. Got. Slaughtered. Was absolutely horrible. Drew absolute junk, nothing but junk. Stuff I need later on and stuff that I can't use in the first few turns. Lonefire and the like decided to stay away from topdeck. Figures. Sigh. So I lost 2-0.

Next match, my best one of the day, against X-Sabers. Good hands, good field position, good most of the duels. I think it was still 2-0 but I still managed to hold my own against the beasts of the format, Infernities being the Demons, because that's cool and stuff. 

And next in line was a little kid using Blackwings. Must be a Crow fan. Can't blame him, Crow is badass. Though he didn't have any of the synchros, THANK GOD. Though he wouldn't know how to use them, poor kid. Thankfully for my pride I did beat him 2-0.

Last game, because locals don't go for long enough and the guy I was facing took forever to finish his duels, Froggies. I now hate this deck with a passion. Frogs are amazing at being annoying, yet effective at the same time. I ended up overswarming him after managing to deplete his field but he ended up beating me 2-1. 

Overall the day was alright, despite me losing like every game. Casual duel against Glads, 2-0. Again against Synchro Cats and Mill. Crap stuff. So GigaVise isn't what I hoped it would turn out to be. Le Sigh. Better luck next time and have fun in my folder and rares box and YUSEI-HIME DECK!

That's right it's close to decent levels of completiton. I need Caius the Shadow Monarch x 2, Dragon Synchros, Warrior Synchros though I think I'm getting some, Super-Nimble Mega Hamster x 2 and another Pot of Avarice and if someone loves me they're get me a Mirror Force and a Solemn Judgment. Please?

Anyways that's enough of me ranting. Whining about assignment I should've started last week coming tomorrow most likely. Laters.

TGIF + DandyWarrior Discussion

Thank God It's Friday.

Or something along those lines, not like I'm at uni or working during the week so my Fridays occur multiple times I guess. Though I will actually have to do some uni work soon. It's a horrible thought but unfortunately I can't get a degree in children's card games. I need to figure out how I can be a teacher on Duel Academy Island...though if I had to put up with kids like Jaden I dunno if it would be entirely worth it. Get your game on!

Speaking of game, assuming I'm at decent health, locals tomorrow! Yay! Hopefully I can get some of the stuff I need for my DandyWarrior/Yusei-Hime deck. Or that I pull something off the charts from my Turbo Packs. That would be sweet. Though I still need to get stuff of off Matt. Yes I'm talking to you, you Kaibaman wannabe. I still love you though.

I've been trying to get over this flu bite without too much drugging up but doesn't seem like it's working too well. At least I'm not dying or throwing up. That would suck big time. So I'll be happy I can still sleep as well as I normally do and that my stomach is still being friendly. It always was my favourite internal organ. Now I'm hungry.

While I decide what I'm gonna eat I feel like talking about DandyWarrior/Yusei-Hime and why I love the deck so much. It's not exactly a hard deck to build persei, but it isn't easy to use. I've seen different kids try and run it and they have all this weird crap in there and they end spamming their fields with so many tokens they can't do anything and it just annoys me a lil inside. Someone who has no idea what I'm talking about? It can beat ZombieSworn.

Credit goes to Jeff Jones for bringing this deck into media exposureness and Dubkdad1 on his YouTube channel for showing me this awesome decktype. It doesn't cost $500 and can still do some damage; and if you love Princess Yusei then this deck is almost as good as Yusei-Turbo, which is also another want as far as my deck building goes.

Firstly with Yusei-Hime (credit goes to Dubkdad1 for the pimp name) you obviously need to find the key cards for the deck and run those.
 - Quickdraw Synchron
 - Dandylion
 - The Warriors

These are the major key cards and are what make DandyWarrior what it is, obviously. Out of all the warriors Drill Warrior is most important. His effect begins the Drill Warrior Loop (creative name, I know). His effect is basically, you can half his attack and bypass monsters for a direct; along with being able to remove him from play by discarding a card, typically Dandylion to spawn two tokens. During your turn when he comes back again you get to grab that Dandylion or any monster from your grave and add it to your hand. Repeat and continue abuse.

Now for the other key cards.
 - Tytannial, Princess of Cammelias
 - Light and Darkness Dragon
 - Debris Dragon
 - Lonefire Blossom

Now comes in the boss monsters of the main deck. LADD and Tytannial. Some mistakes that people can make is playing LADD while Drill Warrior is on the field. If you have enough protection then I can see why you would do so but don't do it just because you can. You need to THINK. Tytannial + Dandy Plant Type Tokens = Targetting Protection. No Bottomless, No D.Prison. No MST. No Dust Tornado. No Targetting effects. Just tribute a token and it's negated. Fabulous card. Works great in GigaVise, which I am currently running, and works just as well in Yusei-Hime due to the Token Spamming.

Debris Dragon allows easy Stardust, easy Black Rose for nukes, easy Ancient Fairy for protection, easy Dragon for whatever reason you have. Bring back a level 2/3, since it can't sync with level 8s for a Stardust etc, and you could use your tokens as additional sync fodder.

Lonefire Blossom brings out Tytannial. Tytannial in your hand is horrible, you don't wanna tribute for her, you wanna use Lonefire and special summon her out. As a general rule, don't use Lonefire when you don't have protection tokens, you'll run into a Bottomless, D. Prison, Smashing, whatever your local meta likes best.

Lastly, a good set of techs. Monarchs work really well, as you generate a lot of tribute fodder. Caius and Raiza are obviously the better choices but whatever you can afford is good. Ryko and Super-Nimble Mega Hamster also are good to for destruction and milling, which in this meta isn't exactly a bad thing. Hamster grabs a Ryko from your deck and special summons it face-down, so you have an easy destruction and your opponent won't be too quick to attack it.

Well I better stop ranting for now and whatnot, once I get the deck fully assembled I'll be able to show it off on my YouTube channel or something, I dunno. I might do a full blog post on it later but that depends. Wish me luck for tomorrow and crap, I'll update again tomorrow.

Second Post! *generic shock*

Wow a second post. I'm showing some real dedication to this daily thing. Though I need to add on another 19 days before it becomes a habit I will stick too. Apparently. Whatever works.

My day has been alright I suppose, despite the fact I've been coughing and wheezing for most of it. Massive headaches and whatnot too, so I feel absolutely amazing, see sarcasm. I also fully intended to do research and revision for my uni courses. Somewhat. I'll get to it. Maybe. Procrastination always gets you to bigger and better places, guaranteed.

In other news Apple-Mango Fruit Juice is possibly the best thing created, after Yugioh and chocolate. And the internet. And Video games. Well there's a lot of better things but it's up there. I've been staying away from my obsessive ice coffee obsession and I needed something with more flavour than water. BAM Fruit Juice. That is the single most exciting thing that has happened to me today. Yep.

I hope the sickness goes away soon, I really wanna be able to go to Locals on Saturday. My fiendish plants should do moderately well if I'm lucky but I'll probably get creamed by Lightsworns and Blackwings, again. Yay for expensive Meta. I can't wait til Gold Series, hopefully I'll be able to get some staples that are being reprinted and other valueable synchros. Rumours been going around that the 5Ds Dragons might be in there, not Black-Winged obviously but the ones that I need might be.

Introductory Blogging Thing

Well, uh hi I guess. I'm a lonely guy with nothing else better to do, so I'm blogging. Isn't that awesome? Figured as much. Anyways I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing with this thing whether it's bitching and moaning or some deep and meaningful worldly stuff or children's card games but I'm gonna do it and it's gonna be hot.

Now for some lame introductory thing. I'm 18 in like 3 weeks or something, so I'm gonna get my drunk on and it's gonna be a mess. I'm studying at university to attain a Bachelor of Education so I can teach, obviously because I dunno what else you plan on doing with a Bachelor of Edu. Anyways. I do all that nerdy stuff, I YouTube a bit, moreso some of the YugiTube channels, like TeamDKF and dubkdad1, if I knew how to tag him I would because he gave me the idea and inspiration to get a DandyWarrior or as I've started using, Yusei-Hime build.

Yeah figured it'd travel into children's card games pretty quickly. I do love the game, even if I'm not extremely good at it yet and don't have a lot of cards or whatever. I won't get into too much detail because that deserves it's own post and no one wants to read me rambling on forever.

I'm looking into trying to show off some decks and maybe some duels on my YouTube channel I'm trying to set up and whatnot so if anyone is interested then go ahead and hit me up. Once I get over being sick I might actually be able to show my decks and my trades and all that wonderful stuff. Be good to keep in mind that I'm Aussie and I'm not sure how well trades would work but that's how it goes.

I kept it short and sweet for first time so peace and I'll update again tomorrow most likely, since I have the time it probably will end up being a daily thing, mixing Yu-Gi-Oh with University and teenage life. Woo.
